From the General Manager
By Courtney Cady
We are making significant headway around the community! As March unfolds, we welcome our newest board members to Team Shores, and we are getting ready to ramp up and update the committee processes and members for 2022.
We have also had a busy month transitioning to our new landscape company, Xtreme, and we are looking forward to the wonderful work we are already beginning to see. I am happy to report that we have received numerous compliments on the progress made by our new landscape crews and leadership, and while there have been a few bumps in the road, the team and community has taken it in stride.
Recently we have heard that homeowners are being approached about removing palm trees on their property due to disease. If you have any questions or if you think your trees may be diseased, you are welcomed and encouraged to request one of the Xtreme arborists come out and verify or provide a second assessment. This is not mandatory, rather a reminder that there is a process in place to protect you--and the community--from attempts to do unneeded work. Please remember that ARC approval is required for any tree work on your property.
We are very excited about the life being breathed back into the community! At the end of February, we had our first live HOA event with the musical stylings of Jesse Hamilton and the comedic antics of Adam Ferrara. I would like to extend my gratitude to both the Entertainment Committee and Tanya Harris for the many hours planning and organizing this great event, and am looking forward to the upcoming events over the next weeks and months.
We would also like to thank you, the residents. Your patience and understanding as we navigate through a new year with new partners is much appreciated! Again, we thank you for doing your part in keeping the community safe – 2022 is already looking up!
