Bocce Club

 

 

 

 

The mission of the Bocce Club is to provide a venue for residents to play Bocce in a friendly atmosphere that promotes relaxation, enjoyment and friendly competition, not only at Valencia Shores, but with other communities as well. 

 

 

Informal summer games will be played on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 throughout the summer. Bring refreshments and play bocce in a social setting. Any questions, contact Harry Baker or just come down to the courts.

 

Fall/Winter League play will commence in October. Watch for a Valencia Shores EFLASH in late August or early September for details

 

The Bocce Club Welcome Back Party will be on November 7.  Details will be announced in the fall.

 

Bocce Club meetings are on the third Tuesday of each month in the Social Hall. All members and newcomers are welcome.

 

 

New members are always welcome.

 

If you are already on a bocce team, your captain will collect your dues in October and your membership will renew automatically.

 

If you are a new player or new to the league and would like to join the Bocce Club and play in the bocce intramurals for the 2025/2026 season, please email Harry Baker.  You may sign up as a team of up to 12 members, with a group of friends, as a couple or individually. Regardless of how you register, you will be placed on a team. 

 

Annual dues are $20 per person.

Courts are reserved for league play and bocce club events when scheduled or rescheduled due to inclement weather. Courts are always available for social play or practice when there is no league play or bocce club events.  Please remember to return the equipment, straighten the chairs, put away the umbrellas and turn out the lights when you leave.
