VALENCIA SHORES BOCCE CLUB
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Bocce Club is to provide a venue for residents to play Bocce in a friendly atmosphere that promotes relaxation, enjoyment and friendly competition, not only at Valencia Shores, but with other communities as well.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Bocce Club elections are underway. There are 11 candidates for 9 positions. Ballots have been emailed to all club members, are available in the Social Hall and at the Athletic Complex and can be printed out by clicking the link below. All members should complete their ballots and place them in an envelope and drop the envelope off at the front desk of the Social Club website. Please mark the outside of the envelope with your name and notation “VS Bocce Club Election." DO NOT put your name on the ballot itself. The following are the candidates in alphabetical order: Harry Baker, Marlene Blum, Jerry Feigelson, Howard Galin, Steven Lichtengardten, Sherri Meyers, Stephen Mighdoll, Julie Reisner, Shelli Smith, Chuck Strolla, and Cliff Uttan.

The next meeting of the Bocce Club will be on Tuesday, March 17 at 4:00 in the Social Hall. Elections will be held on this date.

The season ends on January 26. Make-ups can be played through February 1. Playoffs start February 7.

Bocce Club meetings are on the third Tuesday of each month in the Social Hall. All members and newcomers are welcome.

Annual dues are $20 per person.

BOCCE COURTS NOTICE
Courts are reserved for league play, team practices and bocce club events when scheduled or rescheduled due to inclement weather. Courts are always available for social play or practice when there is no league play, scheduled practices or bocce club events. Please remember to return the equipment, straighten the chairs, put away the umbrellas and turn out the lights when you leave.
